Deep, well put together world. Would love to read more of his work based on this world. Absolutely love the style in which it is written.
Unsatisfactory ending.

It's a little bit of a difficult read. (Spoiler alert! Don't read on if you don't want to know the ending of this book!) It was pretty good, except for the ending, when they say that Europe will live, stop reading, cuz that makes for a better ending. (SPOILER ALERT!) The actual ending has Rossamünd leaving to go live with the one monster lord. Sounds like a nice ending you say? Wrong! Think about the future! He goes there to live and never sees his friends and loved ones ever again, and he'll keep living there even after those he loves die of old age and he just keeps living there for how many centuries?! He has power! Power that he could use to try and change the bad relations between man and monster! And he could be with those he loves! It irritates me!! He could be a hero fighting for the good of others, and he just goes off to LIVE a POINTLESS and possibly lonely life...! How cowardly!
