You haven't read a thriller until you read #1 New York Times bestselling author Sue Grafton's novels with her unforgettable P.I. Kinsey Millhone... "C" is for CorpseHe was young-maybe twenty or so-and... This description may be from another edition of this product.
5 stars all the way! I have enjoyed this one the most so far, being the 3rd book in the Alphabet Series. Only 23 more to go (lol). This book is a very relaxing and easy read. I love the 80's nostalgia of it. It makes me smile beyond words and takes me back. Oh Ms. Roberta will make you lol, literally with her one liner. The character Kinsey is awesome. Its hard to write a review and not give too much away. I think these books could even be read as stand alones ,if you can't get all the series. BTW Jonah followed us into book #3, YAY! I hope he makes an appearance in book 4, " D for Deadbeat".
Good read

Good read. The ending was good but it was super wordy with un-needed details to find out who the killer was IMO.
Best so far!

I recently started reading these great books by Sue Grafton and really enjoy them. I was told to read them in order so of course I have only read three so far. I have found "C" is for Corpse the best so far. You begin to believe that Kinsey Millone is an actual person that exist, and can't wait to see what she will be up to next. She's smart, witty, fun, and you can't help but like her. I am saving "D" for deadbeat for my vacation so I will have a guaranteed great read.
Absolutely Loved It!

I'm reading them in order, and after just finishing 'C' it is my favorite thus far. The characters are engaging and extremely real, and Grafton really gets a handle on writing about their lives in this one. Her wry humor is never better, and the book speeds by. There's even a subplot which is as enjoyable as the main. Don't miss this if you've been reading the Kinsey Millhone mysteries.
A fun read

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, but my favorite is still A is for Alibi
I loved the "C" book. Bobby was such a lovable leading man.

It was more tender than some of Grafton's other Alphabet books and nothing is better than a good cry. Kinsey Milhone is always fun to read, but this one showed a sentimental side of her character.
